The Club
Tynemouth Hockey Club play men's hockey on the sand-based astroturf pitches at The Parks, North Shields, Tyne & Wear. There are four teams playing league hockey, and a veterans' team. Tynemouth First Team plays in Division One of the North Hockey League, and the Seconds, Thirds and Fourths play in the North East Hockey League. Tynemouth Veterans compete annually in the HA Veterans' Cup.
Training takes place at The Parks during the season on Tuesday evenings, from 8.00 p.m. until 9.30 p.m. under the supervision of qualified HA coaches. New players of all ages and abilities are always welcome.
