Tynemouth Hockey Club play their home
games at The Parks, North Shields. After-match hospitality takes place at the
The Wooden Doll, North
Shields. After using Wallsend Sports Centre for seven years, the club moved a few miles
along the road to a brand new sports centre boasting two astro pitches with high quality
floodlights. The Parks was officially opened in January 1998 but Tynemouth Hockey Club was
allowed to use the excellent facilities from November 1997.

How to get there from the North.
- Follow the A19 towards the Tyne Tunnel
- Just outside the tunnel turn left onto the A187
towards North Shields
- Continue on the A187 until you see a gasometer
- Just in front of the gasometer turn left into The
Parks
How to get there from the West.
- Follow the A1058 towards Tynemouth
- Turn off onto the A19 towards the Tyne Tunnel
- Just outside the tunnel turn left onto the A187
towards North Shields
- Continue on the A187 until you see a gasometer
- Just in front of the gasometer turn left into The
Parks
How to get there from the South.
- Follow the A19 to the Tyne Tunnel
- Just outside the tunnel take the second left onto the
A187 towards North Shields
- Continue on the A187 until you see a gasometer
